Allowing Ourselves to Be Seen
As the day nears its end, find a quiet place and regain your composure. Let's quiet our hearts. Take one or two deep breaths. Let us bring to our hearts the things we have experienced today. We let the Lord look upon our day.
What events have brought us peace and joy? By whom have we felt loved, cherished, and valued? Stay there for a few minutes, savoring and feeling.
Let us allow the Lord to look upon the moments when we lost our peace today, and allow ourselves to be reconciled with those moments.
We prepare to begin a new day under the Lordโs gaze.
