You Have Lived Among Us
During this Christmas season, wake up with a heart full of joy and offer your desire to contemplate the profound meaning of the Incarnation.
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (Jn 1:14).
Pope Francis explained: “The Word became flesh… Why does St. John use this word ‘flesh’? Because it indicates our human condition with all its weakness and fragility.”
God became fragile so that He could draw close to your fragility. That is the meaning of Christmas: God is with us.
Ask the Lord to come into your whole being so that you may welcome Him and bear witness to His endless love before all those you meet today. Pray the prayer of offering with this desire in your heart.
