WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Word that is Encounter
Pause, enter into silence, and meditate:
“The history of salvation as a whole shows us progressively this intimate bond between the Word of God and faith, which is fulfilled in the encounter with Christ” (Benedict XVI).
Ask yourself whether your faith is a response to an encounter with Christ that is rooted in the Word of God.
As you begin your evening, ask the Lord to grant you the grace to believe in the God of Jesus, and not in the one you invent for yourself.
