A Wounded Heart
I reflect on the day. I thank You, Lord, for the blessings—big and small—You have given me: a conversation, a pleasant surprise, the company of others.
I acknowledge the painful or sad moments of the day—whether I have hurt someone or have been hurt myself. We sometimes hurt those we love.
Give me the light to repair the damage done and to recognize what my heart needs to heal.
Tomorrow I want to offer a gesture of love to the person whom I had a hard time with today. Give me the strength to carry out this intention.
