WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Mary Sustains
During the afternoon break, turn to Mary and pray for priests who are going through difficult times: ‘The Virgin will sustain him (the priest) in his commitment to evangelical poverty and make him open to listening humbly and sincerely to his brothers.’ (St. John Paul II)
Pause and ask yourself: How have you lived out listening and being open to others today?
Reflect on these words: “May the Virgin Mary, who said ‘yes’ to God’s unprecedented proposal, help us to open our hearts to God’s invitations and to the needs of others.” (Francis)
Pray the prayer of the month.
