WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
The Heart of the Apostle
Let us take in all that we have experienced and prepare our hearts to close out the day. Let us take some time to reflect on today’s events. What do we have to thank the Father for?
Let us consider how our hearts have responded to the Lord’s presence in the events we have lived through. Have we been listening? Have we paused to recognize the Master’s voice in what we have experienced?
Let us consider whether we have lived with little awareness, in a hurry, and without discerning our steps. Have we been docile to the Lord? The heart of the apostle allows itself to be shaped for the mission.
Let us ask for help for tomorrow and offer up our rest.
Our Father…
