WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Freedom to Follow
This morning stand before Jesus, without excuses and without disguise.
"Sell what you have and follow me" (Mark 10:17–27).
His word hits the nail on the head—it’s exactly what you hold on to in order to feel secure. Ask Him to show you how your “wealth” is weighing you down: possessions, habits, vanities, and hoarding. Ask Him to give you a poor and courageous heart, capable of letting go in order to love.
May your decisions today reflect true discipleship; may you know how to choose what is necessary, care for what you have received, and make room for those who live in need.
Place your day in His hands so that your life may become freer and more charitable. Amen.
