WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Thirst for Peace
As you pause today, meditate on these words of Pope Leo XIV: โThe world thirsts for peace; it needs a true and solid era of reconciliation that will put an end to arrogance, the display of force, and disregard for the law. Enough of wars, with their painful toll of dead, destruction, and exiles!โ
Ask for the courage to quench this thirst for peace, beginning in your own heart, and extending to your family and your community. Pray for the grace to live reconciled with the Lord and with one another.
Pray the prayer of the month, asking in a special way for nuclear disarmament.
