WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Recovering from the Week
Today is the last day of the week. Take a moment to look back on all you have experienced. Thank the Lord for life and for the opportunity to serve, to love, to share, to work, and to enjoy.
Give thanks for the moments when you noticed nature—the air, the scents, the flavors, the sounds. Become aware of the presence of people—the voices of your brothers and sisters, their gestures, their gaze, their needs. Remember that He dwells in people, in situations, and in real things. Thank Him for helping you discover them, and ask forgiveness for the times you passed by too quickly to notice.
Pray for the grace to live the coming week with greater attention.
