Pope at Audience: Church’s mission is to help people look at profound questions of life - Vatican News

Michael Brown · · General audiences
During the weekly General Audience, Pope Leo XIV reflected on the fourth chapter of Gaudium et spes, stating that the Church's first mission in the contemporary world is to help people look at profound questions of life.

The Pope contrasted this mission with the modern pressure to conform to material consumption, emphasizing that hearts are made to look upwards.
