The US Bishops invite support for the Church in Africa through the Solidarity Fund, created by the USCCB to assist a rapidly growing Church facing severe hardships. After Pope Leo's Apostolic Journey, the faithful can join his call for solidarity. In 2025, the fund awarded 97 grants for peace, evangelization, vocations, and environmental stewardship. Grants supported a Bible camp in Mali, catechist training in Sudan, and Gospel volunteers in Central African Republic. Archbishop Zinkula encourages gifts to respond to the Holy Father's call for peace. Many dioceses will take up the collection this summer.
