We Pray for Priests
“Come, Creator Spirit,
visit the souls of your faithful
and fill them with divine grace,
the hearts that You Yourself created.
This ancient liturgical hymn reminds every priest of the day of his ordination, evoking the vows of complete openness to the action of the Holy Spirit made on that unique occasion. It also reminds him of the special assistance of the Paraclete and of so many moments of grace, joy, and intimacy that the Lord has allowed him to experience throughout his life.” (St. John Paul II)
Let this prayer accompany you this evening as you pray for the priests who have accompanied your life of faith.
