WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING๐โ๐ซ ๐โ๐ซ ๐โ๐ซ
Blessed are those who wait for the Lord
Give thanks to the Lord for this day and for the gift of life you have been given.
โThere was a rich man who dressed in purple and fine linen and feasted sumptuously every day. A poor man named Lazarus was lying at his gate, covered with sores, and longing to be fed with what fell from the rich man's table โ (Lk 16:19-21).
Who are the poor around you today?
This month, in union with the intention for disarmament and peace, pray that you may grow in gestures of compassion and justice. Ask the Lord to open your eyes, so you are not indifferent to the suffering of others, and to help you recognize that the greatest wealth is love. May your heart be humble and trusting, like Lazarusโs.
Offer this day to the Lord, willing to collaborate in building peace, and pray the Prayer of Offering.
