WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Monthly day of prayer for mental health
Priests deserve good mental health care
Today is the monthly day of prayer for mental health. This month the Pope prays for priests in crisis.
In todayโs Gospel the Pharisee Nicodemus comes to Jesus at night at in a moment of crisis. He must have questioned his beliefs and vocation as a Pharisee. A crisis in vocation can create serious mental health challenges.
Christ offered him hope and encouragement to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
We pray that priests in moments of crisis will find hope in Christ and that they will be given the mental health care and community support that they need and deserve.
We conclude with the Offering Prayer...
