WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Truth Against Waste
In this hour of the afternoon, allow the Lord’s light to shine upon your daily habits and the suffering that often remains hidden from your view.
"When food is not used properly… we are at the mercy of the 'throwaway culture.”’ Pope Francis often spoke on this topic, and so today ask for a change of heart so that your consumption may not be impulsive or thoughtless.
Commit to salvaging what would otherwise be lost (leftovers, bread, ripe fruit), storing it properly, and using it responsibly to feed others.
Conclude by saying the monthly prayer. Amen.
