WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
The Right to Bread
This afternoon, bring before the Lord those who cannot access sufficient food and those who sustain life through their quiet labor.
“Ensuring that everyone has access to the necessary food is a basic right of every person,” as Benedict once said. Pray and hope that food will reach everyone and that waste will truly decrease.
Today take a look at what you already have and share what you can without drawing attention to yourself.
May your table not be a place of excess, but of responsibility.
Conclude by joining in praying the monthly prayer. Amen.
