WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Joy that No One can Take Away
Begin the day without demanding that the day “go well” for you; rather, embrace it with Jesus.
“No one will take your joy away from you” (Jn 16:20–23a).
Joy does not depend on things being easy, but on His faithful presence. When sadness visits you, do not let yourself withdraw into yourself; let Him make you open to loving through deeds. May your way of living and consuming be a humble sign of His Kingdom.
Place your tasks and your decisions before Him. Ask Him to teach your heart to be grateful, moderate, and in solidarity.
May fear not rule you today, but His promise. Amen.
