WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Reflection and Rest
Night is falling, look back on the day with a simple heart.
Thank Him for what you have received, for the food and for the people you met. Ask Him, without excuses: where did true joy spring forth, and where did you stifle it with complaints or selfishness? Were you careful with His gifts, or did you treat them carelessly?
Ask His forgiveness for what you failed to love and ask Him to strengthen what was good.
Tomorrow try to live with less excess and more attention to others.
Entrust to Him those who went hungry today.
Before going to sleep, slowly recite the Our Father. Amen.
