WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Present without Waste
At this hour, turn your gaze toward those who sustain life through their work and toward those who lack the essentials.
Francis wrote: “If we want to build a future in which no one is left behind, we must… radically avoid food waste.” In keeping with this message, pray for quality food for all.
Ask Him to correct your habits, so that you do not buy on impulse or treat bread as something disposable. Today, try to adjust portion sizes and carefully preserve what is left so that it is not wasted, and so that you may share what you can.
Ask Him to help your community learn to care for and share.
Conclude by joining in praying the monthly prayer. Amen.
