WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Goods for the Hungry
This afternoon, present to the Father the world’s table: there is so much abundance, and yet, at the same time, so much need.
“The food available in the world today would be enough to end hunger for everyone,” Pope Francis said.
Ask Him to make us responsible, that waste be cut down, that what is left over be shared, and that what is produced be cared for.
Commit to preparing only what is necessary and to setting aside the remainder, well preserved, so that it may feed others and not end up in the trash.
To conclude, recite the monthly prayer for May. Amen.
