WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING🍂
Mercy That Gives Life
“I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” (Mt 12:7)
Lord Jesus, today you remind me that love is at the heart of your Gospel. Teach me to look at others with the same compassion with which you look at them. May I not shut myself off in judgments or demands that overlook real people. Give me a heart that is attentive to suffering and willing to serve. In this month dedicated to respect for human life, help me to defend and care for all life through concrete gestures of closeness, welcome, and tenderness.
I pray the offering prayer for the Pope’s prayer intention.
