WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
A Table for All
During this afternoon break, bring before the Lord the contradictions of our world.
Pope Francis warned us that, "We are currently witnessing a true paradox regarding access to food…," in which he was referring to those who have nothing to eat and those who are overweight.
For the intention of May, pray for effective ways to ensure everyone has access to quality food. Ask Him to transform your habits so that you organize what’s at home and use up what’s about to expire first; and store leftovers properly so they don’t end up in the trash.
Ask Him to teach us to move from waste to solidarity, without empty rhetoric.
Finally, join in praying the monthly prayer. Amen.
