WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING🦐
A Sign
“Teacher, we want to see you perform a sign” (Mt 12:38)
Lord of life, I thank you for the new day you give me and for allowing me to recognize all the life you invite me to defend. Through your Word, you show me how important it is to acknowledge you as Lord and Teacher, without needing to ask for signs, for your presence alone is enough for me.
In today’s Gospel, you tell us: “No sign will be given to this generation except the sign of the prophet Jonah” (Mt 13:39). In a world where we are asked for proof of everything, you invite us to look at our history—the Word of God that has been handed down to us. We need no more proof than the very life You have given us to share, and to recognize in it the presence of the living God.
I say the offering prayer.
