WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING🌟
Love your neighbor as yourself
Lord, You offer us a new day; here I am to live it with You, drawing strength from the words of the Gospel: ‘A teacher of the Law asked Jesus, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind… The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Mt 22:34–40)
Who will be “my neighbor” today? I think about the people I will meet—in my family, at work, or simply on the streets of my city… How will I look at them and love them in concrete ways? Love begins with the gaze with which I approach my brother or sister
Through an offering prayer, I tell the Lord of my desire to be available for his mission of compassion for the world.
