WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Monthly day of prayer for mental health
Following Christ in our Cities
Today is the monthly day of prayer for mental health. This month the Pope prays for evangelization in the city.
In todayโs Gospel Jesus says, โWhere I am, there also will my servant be.โ
In our large cities Christ can be found especially among the homeless, those struggling on the streets with mental health challenges, addictions, and the lonely.
Let us pray that we can overcome our fears and uncaring attitudes and follow Christ by serving those people in our urban areas who so desperately need to experience the mercy and love of Christ through our presence and actions.
We conclude with the Offering Prayer.
