WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING⛅️
Trusting in God's Timing
Thank the Father for this new day which He offers you. Remember that He is with you and walks beside you.
Today’s Gospel shows Jesus standing before Lazarus, who is sick: “This sickness is not one that leads to death, but is for the glory of God” (Jn 11:4). Notice how Jesus does not rush, but trusts in the Father’s timing. You too are called to trust, even when you do not understand His timing, even when reality seems dead or hopeless.
Ask yourself: How can I trust His timing more today, without giving in to despair or haste that take me away from peace?
Ask the Father to place your heart close to the Heart of His Son, Jesus. Ask that the Holy Spirit make you available for the mission of compassion in a world wounded by violence.
Offer this day to the Lord for the Pope’s prayer intentions, and with Mary, offer your day for the peace that the world so badly needs.
