Finding Silence
As the afternoon begins, I take a moment to pause and let the Lord know that I am thinking of Him. I can simply close my eyes and find silence right where I am. Perhaps I need to learnโor relearnโhow to embrace myself in silence.

I remain attentive to the sounds around me until they lose their importance and fade away. The hardest part is reaching inner silence. I imagine Jesus by my side and share with Him what is important to me at this moment.
