WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Seeing to Act
Pause this afternoon and reflect on these words spoken by Pope Leo XIV during his apostolic visit to Cameroon:
“Behind the statistics lie faces, stories, and shattered hopes. Faced with such dramatic situations, at the beginning of this year I called on humanity to reject the logic of violence and war, and to embrace a peace founded on love and justice.”
In the light of today’s Gospel, ask the Lord to grant you the grace to recognize in the faces of those around you the signs of despair, suicidal thoughts, memory problems, and social isolation, so that you may respond to mental health issues.
Ask Him for this grace as you recite the monthly prayer.
