WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Unity is the requirement for the mission
After what may have been a very busy morning, I take a moment to pause and be still. I listen to the words of Pope Leo: โBeing a Christian means living in union with Christ. It is in the witness of a reconciled, fraternal, and supportive community that the proclamation of the Gospel finds its full communicative power.โ
I may have a great desire in my heart to bring the Gospel to my brothers and sisters, especially in the cities, but only in union with Jesus and with my brothers and sisters can my efforts bear fruit.
In communion with the whole world, I pray this monthly prayer together with the Popeโs Worldwide Prayer Network. It is the Father who unites us to one another and works within us....
