WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Standing Firm
The sun rises on a new day. I give thanks to the Lord and reflect on the activities that await me, the people I will meet.
In church today, we pray with the words of the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians: โBrothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions we taught you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.โ (2 Thess 2:14โ17) I ask for the grace to stand firm today, through prayer, listening to others, with a gentle gaze.
I take the time to offer my day to the Lord; I offer Him my words, the way I listen, and the way I look at others. May He unite my heart to His loving Heart so that it may be transformed.
I pray the prayer of offering together with all the members of the Global Prayer Network who help me to โstand firm.โ
