WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
The House of God
“On the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, ‘They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him.” (John 20:2-8).
How often do you find yourself standing before the empty tomb? You would like to find the Lord and feel His strong presence, yet you experience only the emptiness of His seeming absence. And how absent the Lord can feel in places where war is raging and hatred appears to reign supreme.
Ask the Lord to make Himself visible and to bring His salvation and His love where they are most needed.
Place this day in His hands through your Daily Offering Prayer.
