WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Closing the Day
At dusk, I reflect on the impressions and experiences of the day. Which encounter still resonates within me? Which word found an echo in my heart? What did me good, and for what do I wish to give thanks? Where was I distracted? Which words were unnecessary or of little use? Why do I ask for forgiveness?
I contemplate the suffering and the cross of Jesus. What can I do for Christ?
Lord, receive this day that is coming to an end and grant Your blessing for the night and for tomorrow.
