WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
God of Wonders
On this new morning, I awaken to life and turn my gaze toward You, God of tenderness. I thank You for the breath of life You give me and for this day that unfolds before me as a precious gift. May every word of my life become a hymn of praise to Your glory.
โIs it lawful or not to heal on the Sabbath?โ (Lk 14:3). Lord, through this question, You remind us that love and mercy are at the heart of Your law. You invite us not to shut ourselves off behind rules that prevent us from seeing the needs of our brothers and sisters. Grant us an attentive and compassionate heart, capable of doing good when the opportunity arises. May we always place love above all other considerations.
I offer myself to You on this day through the prayer of offering.
