WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
The Light that Enlightens Every Man
"The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not recognize him. He came to his own, and his own did not receive him. But to those who did receive him, he gave the power to become children of God: to those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:1-18).
It is beautiful to think that here John is speaking about you, speaking to you, and telling you that you are a child of God.
On this last day of the year, retrace the year you have lived with your mind and heart. Let your praise pour out from within, aware that as His child, the Lord has accompanied you and is guiding you โ and all His children โ into the new year.
Pray that today may also represent a new beginning for all people crushed under the weight of war.
Place these intentions and this day in the Fatherโs hands through your Daily Offering Prayer....
