Cardinal Rolandas Makrickas presided over Mass in Rome on 28 August for the liturgical memorial of Saint Augustine, reflecting on the spiritual journey of the Doctor of Grace. He highlighted Saint Augustine as a teacher of faith and the interior life who made his life a gift to the Church after encountering Christ.

Looking to his example, the Cardinal invited the faithful to pray for a Church capable of being an open home, community, and family for all.
