Since 1989, the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in Jerusalem have been running a kindergarten where Christian and Muslim children learn and play together. In the midst of regional conflict, the sisters provide a safe space and maintain their educational program to foster mutual respect and peace.
