Two Christian schools reopen in Syria after decades of closure - Vatican News

Michael Brown · · News about the Church
Two schools run by the Franciscan friars of the Custody of the Holy Land have been inaugurated in the Syrian Christian villages of Knaye and Yacoubieh following nearly six decades of closure. The institutions were reopened on Sunday, 20 September, after buildings previously used as military shelters and refugee sites underwent extensive restoration.

The initiative aims to provide education and foster dialogue among local Christian and Muslim families in the region.
