WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
The City, a Beehive
I wake up every day, united with so many people who are praying at this very moment. Our prayer makes the city vibrate to the rhythm of Godโthis beehive where, like bees, we need one another so much.
A city thrives thanks to so many people and groups: political leaders, economic figures, decision-makers, and those who perform the simplest tasks.
Jesus inspires our solidarity and compassion. One day, โhe saw a large crowd; he had compassion on them and healed the sick.โ (Mt 14:14) That day, he fed the crowd. Thank you, Lord, for taking care of us. I offer myself to the Father with you, for the happiness of humanity.
Go, little bee, take on your share of service in the city of God!
