WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
I take a break
I pause for a moment to realize that I am walking with Him and He with me, that I am not alone, that the Risen One is always with me.
I reflect on these words of our Pope Leo, who spoke of an image of man who โfeels powerful when he dominates, who wants to conquer by killing his equal, who considers himself great when he is feared.โ And he added: โGod has set an example not of how to dominate, but of how to liberate; of how to give life, not of how to destroy it.โ
Lord, make me a person of peace; may my heart be like Yours, loving, respecting, and caring for the lives of those who are most fragile.
I pray the prayer of the month.
