WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Lord of Life, remain close to me!
Thank you, Lord, for this morning, for the life and health you have given me. Accept today the humble offering of my life, which may enlighten and help my brothers and sisters because I myself am filled with your light.
Jesus gathered his twelve disciples and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every kind of disease and sickness. (Matthew 10:1-7).
That is what we desire, Lord: to be collaborators in your mission. And we do so alongside Pope Leo, who believes that the Churchโs primary service must be: โto enlighten the human person and society so that, in the light of Christ and his Word, they may discover their own identity, the meaning of human life, the value of relationships and social solidarity, the ultimate purpose of existence, and the destiny of history.โ
I conclude by saying my daily offering prayer, praying for the Popeโs intention for this month.
