WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
A loving and compassionate gaze
Lord, teach me to see as You do, with compassion. Speak to my senses so that I may offer a word, a glance, or a gesture that reflects the loving care You have for every creature. With these feelings, I offer You my day for this monthโs intention. Thank You, Lord, for opening my eyes to a new day. I am ready to listen to Your Word to learn from You.
What is permitted on the Sabbath: good or evil? To save a life or to destroy it? (Lk 6:9). Your questions challenge my attitude toward the reality around me. On my journey, I may encounter the crippled or paralyzing situations that I fail to notice because I shut myself away in my own little world, where only my own interests matter.
