WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Faith and Commitment
This afternoon, I pause and, following the rhythm of my calm and deep breaths, I enter into silence and inner reflection.
I take Pope Francis’s words on caring for Creation as food for meditation: “What can we do—especially as Christian churches—to heal our Common Home so that it may once again be filled with life? We must decide to transform our hearts, our lifestyles, and the public policies that govern our society…”. What environmental initiatives can I promote to raise awareness about water conservation and equitable access for all?
Lord, may your Spirit transform us into pilgrims in search of what is essential… and may our care for water be a sign of our love for You.
I pray the prayer of the month.
