WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
The Humility of Mary
I pause and reflect. Being a Christian means having a spirit of humility. There is no humility or holiness without walking the path of self-abasement, where the heart allows itself to be purified. (Pope Francis)
I contemplate Mary, humble and faithful, who patiently bore her Sonโs sufferings and wounds. She did not turn away from the pain, but welcomed it with love and trust.
I say the monthly prayer for all those who experience humiliation because of mental illness. Grant them comfort, dignity, and support in their daily lives.
Guided by Mary, I say the prayer of the month, asking for the strengthening of the Churchโs pastoral care for mental health.
