WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Allowing Ourselves the Opportunity to Pause and Listen
Pause for a moment in the Lord’s presence and take in these words that have a powerful meaning:
“Today, we must accompany so many people who are facing complex situations, sometimes without hope... Being close to them and walking alongside them are more effective than many words.” (Pope Francis, November 24, 2013)
Before the Lord, place all those who are overwhelmed by work, swamped by responsibilities, or emotionally exhausted. He knows their weariness, their limitations, and their silent struggles.
Ask our most gracious Father to grant them His peace. Ask for the grace for them to take care of themselves, to avoid overwork, and to find a proper balance. May their work become a source of life and not of excessive fatigue.
Glory Be…
