WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
A Compassionate Gaze
At this hour of the day, pause and welcome the light of the Lord.
โWe must also turn our urgent attention to peopleโs mental health, especially that of young people, for the invisible wounds of the psyche are no less burdensome than those that are visible.โ (Pope Leo XIV)
Allow the Holy Fatherโs words to resonate within you. Let them call you to immediate attention and to a gaze filled with compassion.
Turn your heart toward these young people who are close to you and who silently bear the weight of psychological suffering. The Lord knows their struggles, their fears, and their hopes. Ask Him not to leave them alone in their trials.
Entrust them to the maternal tenderness of the Virgin Mary. With confidence, join in prayer.
Pray the monthly prayer for the Popeโs prayer intention.
