WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
The desire of the Heart of Jesus
In the middle of the day, I refocus my day on what is essential: What is your desire, Lord? For me and for my city, what is your will?
โAim for great things, for holiness, wherever you are. Do not settle for less. Then you will see the light of the Gospel grow every day, within you and all around you.โ (Leo XIV)
The Lord created us to be a large, supportive, and caring human family. He desires that we live in a spirit of community. During what remains of my day today, I want to live with this intention of the Heart of Jesus in mind: that a sign of affection toward a loved one, a smile even for a stranger, or a phone call might allow someone who feels alone to open up and find comfort.
Come, Holy Spirit.
