WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Thursday of the Octave of Easter
As this new day begins, place your fears and doubts in the Lord’s hands.
‘Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet; it is I myself.’ (Lk 24:35–48)
Remember that “The Risen One draws near in the darkest places: in our failures, in strained relationships, in the daily tasks that weigh on our shoulders, in the doubts that discourage us. Nothing of who we are, no fragment of our existence, is foreign to him.” (Pope Leo XIV)
Let these words accompany you today, illuminating the moments of difficulty.
Pray the Prayer of Offering and place the intention of the month in the Lord’s hands.
