WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Wednesday of the Octave of Easter
As the sun rises, give thanks to the Lord for the gift of a new day.
โHe asked them, โWhat are you discussing as you walk along?โโ (Lk 24:13โ35) The Lord approaches the disciples discreetly, as a humble stranger, and joins them on their journey, sharing in their sorrow.
Remember that โJesus is at their side and, with patience, helps them understand that suffering is not the negation of the promise, but the way in which God has revealed the measure of his love.โ (Pope Leo XIV)
Offer this day through the Prayer of Offering, asking the Lord to accompany the journey of priests in crisis.
