WITH JESUS DURING THE DAY
Living Simply
Lord, I pause in my daily routine and quiet myself to listen to the calls you are making to me through this month’s intention.
“Today’s society will not find a solution to the ecological problem unless it seriously reevaluates its lifestyle. In many parts of the world, this same society is inclined toward hedonism and consumerism, yet remains indifferent to the damage these cause. (…) Austerity, temperance, self-discipline, and a spirit of sacrifice must shape our daily lives so that the majority does not have to suffer the negative consequences of the negligence of a few.” John Paul II
With this monthly prayer, I pray that the Holy Spirit will help me live a life of moderation.
