WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
Recognizing the Difficulties
I thank You, Lord, for another day, and I realize that it has passed quickly amid my obligations and responsibilities, sometimes without much attention to what I experienced. I pause and reflect on the moments of the day; help me to see through Your eyes and recognize that special grace You have given me.
I examine my heart for those feelings of fear, mistrust, and anger that clouded the moments of joy and robbed me of my peace. Forgive me for letting myself be swept away by them and for allowing them to take control of me.
Help me to recognize the message they leave me and to learn from them. I offer You what I have experienced, and I resolve to live more attentively to Your presence tomorrow.
